Hands in Service To provide relief
services and support for groups and individuals with financial and/or
physical needs resulting from poverty, health challenges or disaster. The
goal of H.I.S. is to take teams of 15 to 20 volunteers to help existing or
start up organizations, in depressed areas around the world, that need a
short term commitment to build or repair.
H.I.S. goes to the needed area and works. We are not interested in “taking
ownership”. H.I.S. works with the
local people during the project and remains with the project until
completed. Once the project is
completed, H.I.S. moves on to new horizons. Work
teams may consist of adults, families (parents/teen children) church groups
or youth teams. Hands
